STOP WITH THE PARENT BASHING, there is no one on the face of this earth that can say that they know "the know all to end all about parenting" or were born with the parenting of their kids all sown up and if anyone says they have, they are liars. Parenting children is damn hard in todays society for many reasons but the significant one of these reasons is parents have absolutely no control whatsoever when it comes to their kids. You sit there and immediately say its the parents fault if a child steps out of line in any way, you need to wake up from your fantasy world and look at reality so you can STOP the bullshit that is coming from your mouth. Parents rights over their children generally don't exist today in fact the law clearly points out in american and australian laws that basically a parent may virtually only feed and house their children in no uncertain terms. The kids do what ever they want and we can't stop them because the line between what is ABUSE and what is STERN parenting has been completely blurred, we can't do anything. Parenting is damn hard with these laws this way, the laws say we can't even chastise our children or punish them to help them to learn, we can't ground them for if anyone did they would be arrested and charged with imprisonment of a minor as an example, but the government will then state in other laws that they can enact laws allowing them to use canes etc in schools which is ABUSE and that they can put kids as young as 4yrs old in a cell thats akin to a prison and this is ok, well its not ok and as for us parents we just want to be able to set boundaries that our kids can't cross and if they do then we want to be able to punish/chastise our kids in an reasonable manner. As parents we try for the most part to seek the best life for our children possible, at the time michael jacksons parents were raising him and his siblings they thought doing that was the right thing to do and in part it was. Michael has really only himself to blame now for his misgivings in his life, and he fucked his chick magnet face and style by himself. stop parent bashing!!!!!!!

STOP WITH THE PARENT BASHING some parents are not doing what they should 4 their kids but these idiots don't represent the majority of us,just a minority who don't deserve kids and also I suppose you and the other idiots that post comments here to parent bash have been born with the know all to end all book about how to parent your kids, no one knows not even the idiots in childrens services know. Parenting is definately not an exact science, children are supposed to learn from mum and dad but this is certainly not how it actually is. There are no boundaries that can be truely set by parents anymore, the law prevents us and when the kids just do what they want and we cant stop them as we are restrained by law, people like you instantly say its our fault, you and all those that think like you are WRONG wake up. The line between what is actually abuse and what is stern parenting has completely been blured and now you cant tell the difference between either.

I have seen many people in conditions that appear to be very pitiful in the eyes of others, but they can have happiness, being aware of things about themselves, their circumstances that no other know about.
MJ seems to have led one of the most unusual life a person can lead. Personally I dont think I can ever understand what such a life calls for. And can we really judge a decision as right or wrong given that we dont know all the details and contexts revolving around it. That's why a person is always the expert of his/her own problem. One never knows what is the best for another person, no matter how sure he might imagine that he can...
I used to have eyes and heart only for classical musics, and had never been a fan of popular musics, until I came across this man. Personally after spending time researching about him, I no longer found his appearance strange or scary. Strangely enough, I just had the feeling that his appearance (in time of good health of course...not when he lost weight and went under stress ) does correspond to his artistic style and make him looks really good on stage.
I also read that he had his first nose job after breaking his nose during rehearsal. After his serious burning during a Pepsi shooting, he also went through surgeries to fix the damages on his scalp and face. His condition vitiligo was dianosed around mid 80s which correspond to his lightening skin. I dont know what you guys think, but to a perfectionist super star like Michael appearance is so important. Yet he so unluckily went through rare accidents and conditions that are detrimental to his public appearance. He might have tried, attempt after attempt, to fix those damages( n maybe also the damages resulting from false attempts T__T.)
Some people also have quite reasonable comments that through his surgeries he has had more caucasian features. This fact no one can deny, but the underlying reason doesnt need to have anything to do with race. If you look at pictures of black people who have vitiligo, you would see how strange it is to have white skin and black features. It just look unpleasantly strange, which is also the reason why people suffering from this condition also suffer from a serious loss of confidence, many are forced into reclusion, even suicidal. Given a the case of MJ it is easy to understand why through his surgeries he did try to include in his face certain features that are naturally more suitable for his white skin that the disease brought about.
Whatever being said, I still believe he knows himself and what he really needs than anyone else. After all, it was all the things he did and all the choices he made that made him MJ, who has probably the greatest influence and legacy in pop musics and culture.
