    2 If any one race--or any group for that matter--is eager to 'look good' then it should concentrate on addressing and correcting the ugly parts, rather than leaving them uncorrected while hoping that the beautiful parts obscure the ugly ones.

    3 Tracy Chapman plays good music regardless of her race or sexuality--let us appreciate the songs and the singer for the music.
